Saturated Western Markets

As a business professional who tends to start businesses as they come to me, I have found that the west, Manitoba to Vancouver Island, there seems to be a tendency to provide strength to businesses which do not support infrustructures which would support other businesses allowing for free-enterprise and economic growth to multiply expedentially. What businesse have succeeded in the west seems to be resource based resource business using Canadian resources and/or have started elsewhere and continued growth here. Of the ones which support the growth and inovation of new businesses in Canada, which ones do you see as leaders and why?​
